James Lamb
I am an ESRC-funded Doctoral Researcher in the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh, where I also tutor in courses in Education and Digital Cultures and Assessment in Digital Environments. My research interests include the ways that assessment is affected by the societal shift to the digital, as well as exploring how multimodality enables us to understand learning and urban spaces.

Michael Gallagher
My research focus is on mapping the effects of mobility and mobile technology on open spaces, urban spaces, and learning practices, towards developing digital and mobile pedagogies, particularly in the humanities in higher education. I am based within the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh.
